More and more people choose to shop online. More products are also trade online.Online meal ordering is a new consumption pattern following online shopping, and has made some achievements in the competition of catering industry. For the catering industry, it is a breakthrough against traditional mode of catering business and will achieve inter- era development. The traditional ordering form is gradually developing towards Internet-based directions. However, due to various reasons, online meal ordering is still in the developing period. There is still a lot of room for growth. Through the online meal ordering system, people can easily and quickly order the food they want in any place by internet. So we realize the online meal ordering system in this paper.In this paper, we conduct system analysis, design and implementation, according to the basic steps of software engineering, and finally showed up a practical, user- oriented online meal ordering system. The detail work is described as follows:1. Select system technology and analyze feasibility. Elaborate the basic functions that this system should have, combining with the real life.2. Design the overall architecture of the system. Elaborate the whole process of the system. Complete database design according to functional model.3. Design and implement the main functions of the system and provide the effect picture.4. Test the system to ensure it could run correctly and achieve the desired result.Build up of the online meal ordering system based on Dubbo, and provids multiple choices for some people’s dining mode, and enrich the catering culture, and then simplify the interactive process between the customer and the restaurant and reduces restaurant’s operating costs, for all providing a powerful guarantee for the full realization of the modern management of restaurant.
