Modern logistics business information is getting more and more complex and the exchange of commodity is more and more frequent. Meantime, customers’ requirements of the speed and quality of logistics are higher and higher. Modern logistics has generally realized the network-based administration which is increasing the requests of information technology. Only consistently innovating and providing the specialized services can promote the international competitiveness of logistics business. However, the scale of the modern logistics companies are widely small and the logistics infrastructure is weak. In particular, the aspects of informationalization construction cannot completely satisfy the needs of the development of modern logistics. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the logistics informationalization construction, in which the most significant thing is to refine the core integrated business system, that is, BOS(Business Operation System). In the present phase,building the logistics BOS is meaningful for optimizing the allocation of resources,improving the quality of operating the economy and developing the national logistics industries.This paper analyzes the characteristics of logistics business and problems which present logistics systems are confronted with. This paper also raises new requirements that accord with modern logistics and adjust to the future development of companies;sorts out a complete set of logistics business procedure which is also used to be integrated with the prevalent activity work flow to design a set of procedure which is complete and easy to be maintained. As a result, a set of new BOS has been developed. New BOS applies the development modes of software engineering to doing analysis of the system’s functional needs; utilities UML modeling to analyze the user account, role and so on and finished the database design and system function design according to the demand analysis.Through the comparison between various development platforms, this paper chooses the relatively suitable J2 EE framework, assisted with SSH open-source framework technology. In the realization phrase, this paper uses serval vitaltechnologies such as JQuery EasyUI front-end development framework, WebService technology and Lucene full-text search and so on to develop a set of logistics business operation system which accords with modern logistics business and owns certain practical value.
