In this paper, the Guangzhou Pumped Storage Power Station video surveillance systems expand research and design. Applied to unmanned power stations video surveillance system designed in this paper is based on the functional requirements of video surveillance, according to "deploy tiered layers and bring together" design principle, the system structure is divided into a master system and the station end system. Master system as a whole system of centralized management platform to address the remote monitoring, centralized management of distributed storage, alarm reminders, multi-system interaction, and system management problems, to achieve a multi-functional, multi-service integration goals. Station as a focal point for the front-end system monitoring equipment, the nearest station in the front-end equipment to solve the bottleneck problem of centralized storage, to achieve a distributed architecture and massive front-end device partition, triage management system to improve the reliability of the system.As the video surveillance system plays an important role in the power industry, Guangzhou Pumped Storage Power Station for stability, real-time, storage capacity, supply reliability and other performance indicators system has placed enormous demands. According to a wide range of plant monitoring, on-site environment is complex, huge data storage capacity, large production sites electromagnetic interference situation, the system design and development process needs to focus on resolving the storage, transmission and power supply and other issues. In the system storage, this paper based communication protocol iSCSI IP-SAN network storage technology to provide reserve resource allocation and management, the existing communications network and storage network combining high-rate transmission and remote data sharing; based on a modular designed SCSI-SATA disk array technology to solve massive data storage and space expansion issues; remote disaster recovery networking through rational design, improve data security. Transmission and supply of electricity in the system, according to the status of construction sites, the paper offers a different selection methods: the use of long-distance fiber optic transceivers and video signal transmission, the transmission rate and solve the problem of electromagnetic interference; short distance completed using ordinary twisted pair signal transmission and control, while using POE power supply function, reduce the difficulty of construction; the places where the master device, such as the use of centralized UPS uninterruptible power supply, front-end distributed devices using POE power supply or direct mains supply, improve system power supply stability and reduce system construction and maintenance costs.Through the practice of engineering in Guangzhou Pumped Storage Power Station video surveillance system validation and commissioning of the year, the system is stable, the annual availability ≥99.9%, more than 90% live video screen to bring up the response time ≤2 seconds, video control switch ≤2 seconds response time, front-end device control ≤2 seconds delay, data storage time ≥30 days, information processing accuracy rate of 100%, the number of concurrent users to access up to 200 people or more. System with high-definition video in real-time preview, remote control, environmental monitoring and alarm information, electronic maps, multi-system interaction and improve the system management functions. After evaluation of operating results, the system meets the design objectives to achieve a communication network through existing power plant station for unmanned long-term effective dynamic monitoring and management, to improve the safety and reliability of plant operation and maintenance, for the realization of the grid the visual monitoring and scheduling, build power stations unattended remote maintenance, safety production centralized control mode provides the foundation.
