With the national emphasis on public security and video surveillance industry developing,the video surveillance industry is rising to the requirement of the reliability of data storage.The traditional video surveillance storage system in the form of file system to store date,resulting in the high cost of hardware and software equipment.The video management and storage performance is relatively poor,and these have become the bottleneck of the system development.Using our own storage system for storing data to improve reliability,fault tolerance and reducing costs in video monitoring and other storage areas is the important subject to be solved.Based on network video monitoring are studied in this paper,design of soft RAID storage subsystem,the system is under Linux architecture,kernel version 3.0.8,on the basis of the traditional Linux MD module;optimizing the network video system is improved Using bare disk write and soft RAID technology,design based on multi-level index and directory of video and image management and query of disk logical storage structure,speed up the video query speed,improved the traditional video monitoring storage subsystem to store and query the problem of low efficiency.At the same time,the subsystem according to the monitoring and control system based on characteristics of the data is stored in the added to supervise and control the RAID array function,improve the efficiency of the original disk IO,enhanced the reliability of the video data is stored.The first chapter describes the development background on Video surveillance and storage industry at home and abroad,while describing the main contents of this paper;The second chapter mainly introduces the RAID technology and bare disk write video store related key technologies;The third chapter introduces the overall frame structure of the embedded structure under the network video,as well as the software architecture;The fourth chapter of the network video soft RAID storage subsystem design made the necessary instructions;The fifth chapter in detail elaborated the network video machine soft RAID storage subsystem modules are related to the design and implementation details;The sixth chapter the test scheme and test results of the entire system.The last chapter of the full text of merits and defects are summarized and prospected.
