Thermal power plant for the development of national economy plays a very important role, and coal-fired power plant production process is complicated, the production environment is relatively bad. And to a certain extent, The automation of power plant marks the industrial automation level of a country. So the design of safe, stable and reliable control system to realize production automation has very important significance.In this paper, Huaneng jinling power plant boiler make-up water expansion renovation project as the background. Based on the detailed fieldwork and analysis the design data of the original control system, and combined with the current mainstream of boiler make-up water treatment control system design scheme and the owner of the proposed requirements. According to the specific condition of the plant, has realized the design of the control system of boiler make-up water treatment, not only can seamless integration and the original control system, and meet all the requirements of expansion renovation.Firstly, on the basis of boiler make-up water expansion reconstruction technology demands combined with actual situation and the owner of the proposed control system mature PLC control system and combination of field bus control system design scheme. To incorporate the fieldbus into PLC system, designed to be redundant type of PLC, field bus control system. This kind of design scheme, not only can reduce the project cost, and greatly improve the stability of control system.Secondly, on the basis of process design drawings, detailed statistics on process equipment. Determine the types of process equipment, quantity, the scene after the basic information such as location, accordance with the requirements of control system hardware selection, field bus system hardware selection, network design requirements and the overall transformation technical requirements. To determine the controller system and fieldbus system of concrete hardware and manufacturing execution system layer adopts redundant type industrial Ethernet communication and process control system layer USES annular redundant PROFIBUS field bus communication.Then, according to the power plant boiler make-up water system process control requirements and the owner of a chain protection, automatic alarm to remind and unattended operation requirements, such as complete the writing of lower machine control logic. Specific process equipment consists of a single monomer logic operation, sequence control logic of the single set of process equipment, the system as a whole big run automatically logic, a new controller and controller communication logic, old chain alarm logic, priority setting logic and the water pump main choice logic, etc.Finally, using the American GE IFIX monitoring configuration software, to improve production quality and economy of boiler make-up water system as the basic principle, combining with the operational personnel requirements and thermal control engineer to control the demand of the system maintenance, developed a fully functional PC monitoring human interface. The process image mainly for the production process control and monitoring service, function picture primarily for system stability, production data provide judgment based on the analysis, the cause of the problem analysis, etc.
