With the development of remote sensing technology, the performance of infrared spectral remote sensor has been continuously improving. Infrared remote sensing has been widely used in the area of disaster prevention and mitigation, military target identification and detection, resource survey. At the same time, higher requirements of remote sensing satellites system optimization design have been put forward aim at advanced infrared remote sensor. Unlike visible light, infrared spectral characteristics of the features reflect the emission radiation characteristics of the features. Infrared spectral characteristics of the features is not only related to surface thermodynamic properties of the features, but also closely related to the surrounding geographical environment, atmospheric environment of the features. Therefore, the analysis of infrared spectral characteristics of the features would be a little more complex.The aim of this paper is establishing a specialized system integration framework for the simulation of thermal infrared remote sensing data based on the key technology research on ground object radiation characteristics, atmospheric transport model, remote sensor model. The technical objective of this paper is simulating a real image and multi-band image with any combination of bands based on the design parameters of the remote sensor, the background of the earth’s environment and the atmospheric conditions to test the rationality of the design of the remote sensor. The main contributions of this paper is organized as follows.(1) For the needs of the land surface remote sensing scene simulation analysis, designed and implemented an comprehensive, unified, standard infrared feature Spectral Database includes the parameters of surface reflectance, surface emissivity, surface net radiation, apparent thermal inertia, sensible heat flux, latent heat flux, surface roughness.(2) Designed the system structure and the function structure of the infrared remote sensing image simulation system algorithm integrated software. The software implements the model and algorithm of surface radiation field simulation, atmospheric transmission simulation, and optical sensor simulation, seamless integration of the above models and algorithms, implements the infrared remote sensing image simulation system algorithm integrated software with unified interface, easy to operate and efficient operation.The design and performance evaluation of thermal infrared remote sensing imaging system can not be separated from the support of computer simulation technology. Contribute to the requirements analysis and the task analysis in the satellite design stage. Combine the full link imaging simulation system, the software provides a powerful tool for the further quality evaluation of infrared remote sensing image.
