3D infrared scene simulation technology is applied widely in the military fields, such as: the performance test and evaluation of weapon imaging system, infrared remote sensing and mapping. And the authenticity of infrared scene simulation results depends on the infrared texture of ground generated. The optical remote sensing images can truly reflect the real world, accurately express the nature, so the research of infrared scene simulation technology based on optical remote sensing images is of great significance.Under the background of highly realistic infrared scene simulation, this paper mainly studies the processing methods of optical remote sensing images based on its imaging characteristics. And the specific work is outlined as follows:(1) Aiming at the uneven phenomenon of the brightness within single image and color inconsistent phenomenon between many images, this paper thoroughly studies several kinds of dodging algorithm and color consistency processing method. And after the comparison and analysis of algorithm by the means of experiment, we finally choose the most appropriate dodging algorithm and color consistency processing method for optical remote sensing images, which prepares for the following image mosaic.(2)According to the limited field scope of the single remote sensing image, a remote sensing image mosaicking software is developed based on Open CV library. Firstly, we use the scale-invariant feature transform(SIFT) points as the feature vector for image registration to extract feature points. Then, based on Euclidean distance of the vector, the rough matching between feature points is performed. Further, we use random sample consensus algorithm to eliminate the mistaken matching feature points and optimize the matching results, so as to accurately estimate the image transform matrix parameters. Finally, we use improved gradually into fading out image fusion of overlap region to realize the seamless splicing of two optical remote sensing images.(3)Firstly, the implementation details of image analogies algorithm are analyzed in detail. Then, based on image analogies a kind of texture digital application is put forward: the planning and inpainting of optical remote sensing images. By implementing the applicationexamples, the feasibility of the method is validated. And finally, the framework of infrared scene simulation based on optical remote sensing images is introduced.
