Current design of complex product has become with complicated technology,involved in various subjects and knowledge-intensive activities, throughout the flow of product design, how to push the correct design knowledge to the right people at the right time is the goal of knowledge management, and the objective of knowledge organization is a study on optimal allocation of scattered design resources in enterprises,and it’s a way to realize important process of knowledge management. This paper analyzes the knowledge characteristics of complex product design and the present research situation of enterprise-class knowledge management, and studied knowledge organization and its key technologies for design of complex product, in order to improve the efficiency and accuracy of knowledge organization, the main research contents are as follows :(1) The general knowledge organization framework for design of complex product was put forward. respectively, from the view of knowledge flows, knowledge characteristics and dimensions classification of disciplinary field, analyzed the knowledge of complex product design; and on this basis, a general framework for knowledge organization is proposed, the frame mainly consists of three blocks:knowledge representation, the semantic information extraction and document keywords automatic tagging.(2) Studied the method of ontology-based knowledge representation for design of complex product. From the meaning of ontology element and its role in knowledge management, according to the dimensions classification of disciplines, modeling for design knowledge of complex product systematically with ontology technology, and illustrate examples with ontology modeling language-OWL, and demonstrated the operation tools of ontology and visual modeling.(3) Studied the method of semantic information extraction for design of complex product. For the semantic information rich in ontology, put forward an synthetically weighted arithmetic of semantic similarity referenced influencing factors, considering with information content and ontology structure of ontology tree, based on comprehensive evaluating several influencing factors of ontology tree, made the specify to the semantic similarity arithmetic in detail, and tested the arithmetic withexperimental model to demonstrate the efficiency of the algorithm.(4) Studied the semantic tagging method of document keyword in product design knowledge. Constructed a tagging framework for document knowledge, mainly be divided into three parts: knowledge preprocessing, ontology parsing and keyword automatic tagging. The relevant document vector and ontology semantic expression vector obtained by preprocessing technical document and ontology respectively, on this basis, brought semantic information into traditional weighted arithmetic, put forward a new keywords weighted arithmetic based of semantic increment, obtained the characteristics of weights, eventually made the document tagging to the model of document vector consist by keywords and keyword weights. Changing storing semantic model made by document vector to database, and described tagging flow with document instance.
