IoT is a very important component for the recent information technology. The IoT industry has become a significant emerging industry to promote world economic growth. As a key device of IoT application, IoT Access transmits the IoT data collected by the Perceptual System to the data center of the IoT application system. IoT Access collects, disposes and connects the IoT data, therefore, it is the combination of a variety of information technologies.In the current studies that are similar to IoT Acess,the majorty are designed for some or a few specific industries,so they have some weaknesses,for example,the single access capability,poor adaptability,and so on.And they can not meet the wide access requirement of Io T Access,can not adapt to the complex network environment.The proposed Io T Access in this paper is a new system of realizing the access of IoT. It is based on the popular Arduino platform and technology.It allows many IoT devices to access IoT easily,and realizes the flexible choice of network transmission way.The IoT Access,based on Arduino, verifies the technical feature and practicability of the Arduino in IoT. The work contents are as follows:(1) The system design of IoT Access. Firstly,based on the description of IoT Access and the analysis of its application scenarios,propose the characteristics that the IoT Access should have,and define the functions of IoT Access exactly.Then,finish the level analysis and architecture design of IoT Access. Lastly,complete the module designs of IoT Access’ s hardware and software platform.(2) The achievement of IoT Access’ s hardware and software development environment. Hardware development environment of the IoT Access takes the Intel Galileo GEN2 as the core development board, extends the RS232 interface and 3G transmit module,combines the necessary peripheral modules and cables and so on. Its rich data interfaces and network transmission ways support a variety of IoT devices to access IoT easily and increase the IoT Access’ s adaptability in the network environment. The building of software development environment,completes the USB camera driver configuration in the Linux kernel,carrys out the Linux operating system cut and transplant,and sets up the cross-compiling environment in accordance with the hardware development environment.(3) The function achievement of IoT Access.The IoT Access,based on Arduino,allows a variety of data types to access IoT,including sensor data and video data.In the function of sensor data’s access, Io T Access transmits the temperature data collected by the temperature sensor to Yeelink IoT platform.In the function of video data’s access, it realizes to transmit the USB camera’s video information to the data center in the IoT application layer.This takes advantage of MJPG-streamer to realize the real-time transmission of the video information.
