At present, the usability evaluation research of China’s education resource software is still in the infancy, and it is far from international level. This paper will discuss that how group evaluation guide the individual analysis and evaluation of education resource software to form the method of evaluation with the core of users’demand and with the goal of impersonality and accuracy for the research of usability evaluation of education resource software. This paper proposes a new evaluation method based on the optimization of weighted D-S evidence theory, it use Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the relative weights among indicators, and then find the best of weights, and improving the AHP to complete the weighting combination of evaluation. The main tasks of this paper are listed:1. Establishing the usability evaluation system of education resource software. The indicators of usability evaluation model based on optimized weighted evidence theory are identified and measured by the international standard ISO/IEC 9126 and ISO 9241, and the theoretical foundation of evaluation depends on the definition of education resource software, to establish the indicator system based on the principle of comprehensiveness, objectivity, testability, uniqueness, operability.2. Weighting synthesis of evidence and optimizing the weights. The analysis of traditional method of evidence theory synthesis does not consider the insufficient of relative weights among evidences, the new weighting method with AHP is a better solution to handle the influence and deviation among evidences. The particle swarm optimization (PSO) is used to find the best from the weights is produced of AHP, to get the more objective and accurate weights. It lays a solid foundation for getting the result of evaluation.3. Proposing the education resources of software usability evaluation model based on optimization weighted evidence theory, it can be divided into three levels:firstly, in combination with several considerations, determining the establishment of evaluation indicator system; then, on the basis of established indicator system, indicators are evaluated and selected by experts, and the weights are optimized to get objective indicator weights; finally, using evidence theory synthesis to fuse data by the indicators’evaluation results and weights, to get the final level of the software usability.According to the experiment, the model of software evaluation method based on the optimization of weighted D-S evidence theory is able to objectively and factually evaluate software usability.
