Marine, as a new front for the scientific research and international resources, the development of deep sea exploration technology has become a very important link to enhance the ability of deep sea development and to raise the level of deep sea research, including measurement of small water pressure changes is particularly important. Therefore, a piston type deep-sea pressure sensor is designed for measuring small pressure changes under the large water depth pressure.In this paper, according to the measurement requirements of deep-sea pressure sensors and pressure balance control requirements, a pressure balance control scheme has been put forward, which can moving the piston in the cylinder by controlling the motor, changing the oil pressure in the pressure sensor to balance the seawater pressure, then preliminarily determined the piston type pressure sensor system overall composition and precise control of pressure balance control method. By designing and calculating the mechanical transmission system, control system and other components, completed the overall design of the piston type pressure sensor system. Based on the theory of dynamics to get the mathematical model of the system, then drawing the Bode diagram of the system using Matlab software, the basis of the stability of the piston pressure sensor system is obtained. Finally, the system model of the whole pressure sensor is established by using AMESim software, and input different control curves to its control system, to simulate the different action modes of the sensor in sea water, the relationship curve between the sensor response and control is obtained.In the paper, the piston type pressure sensor can realize the accurate and fast response to the external seawater pressure by the closed loop control of the pressure balance control system, it can not only use the small range of sensors to measure the change of micro pressure, in the case of 400m depth, when the depth of the lm fluctuation occur, the sensor error is about 0.013m of the water depth changes, but also through the active regulation of the pressure difference between the sensor and the pressure, the use of pressure accumulation method to obtain the pressure value of water depth, when the seawater pressure is 4MPa, the sensor error is about 0.03MPa, and the accuracy is 0.75%FS. While building the piston type pressure sensor, the deep sea pressure simulation device integration platform, the experimental results show that the piston pressure sensor can meet the requirements of steady state pressure and dynamic pressure measurement.
