With the development of information technology and people’s ideological awareness, the traditional network experience, such as uploading, downloading, browsing (e.g. text, pictures, and video) have not been able to meet the needs of the people. Virtual Reality technology which integrates the network technology, multimedia technology, communication technology and computer technology, can make people feel like in real life, so as to achieve the vivid and lifelike immersion and reality. And many merits can be achieved by constructing virtual laboratory based on the VR. For example, we can eliminate the risk of dangerous experiments, reduce the costs of experiments, further break the limitations of time and space, and finally improve the efficiency of performing experiments. In addition, the Web combined with VR technology will likely to be the next generation of the Internet.This paper is mainly through the VR technology to build a virtual laboratory, through the basic interactive design, so that the experiment reflects the authenticity, to provide theoretical basis and technical support for the construction of experimental teaching virtual laboratory.The main work is:first, introducing the research background and significance, domestic and foreign research status;Secondly, introducing virtual laboratory construction technology, selecting 3DS MAX software as a tool for the modeling of virtual laboratory constructing from integrating a variety of factors.introducing the virtual reality modeling language, selecting VrmlPad for pruning in the process of interactive scene optimization design, choosing CORTVRML plugin browsing the system file;Third,researching and analysising the virtual reality interactive design technology, including six interpolator (colorinterpolation, positioninterpolator, orientationinterpolator, coordinateinterpolator, scalar-interpolator, normalinterpolator), eight sensor (timesensor, touchsensor, planesensor, cylindersensor, spheresensor, proximitysensor, visibilitysensor and collisionsensors) and script node.Fourth,the basic interaction design and implementation of Virtual Laboratory, including the introduction of the developing platform selection, the design of virtual laboratory of computer assembly, code reuse technology into the virtual experiments of computer assembly, the basic interactive technology into the virtual experiments of computer assembly.
