The Design And Implementation Of Enrollment Management System For Hunan City College

With the development of Hunan City University, students are also growing, the number of students and the school departments are gradually increasing, and college enrollment management is becoming more and more complicated. The previous manual way of enrollment method appears not flexible, and admissions on the basis of manual method is prone to copy record error. Once the recording is in error, query work suffers unspeakably. Furthermore, the information preserved in paper manuscript is easy to lose, and cannot be recovered. Therefore, Hunan City University urgently need a set of enrollment management system to manage the college enrollment work in order to reduce the work of management personnel and strengthen the enrollment management.This paper mainly introduces the requirements analysis, design and implementation of Hunan City University enrollment management system. The system adopts B/S structure, and uses Java language, uses the MVC design pattern to design the system, and web development uses JSP dynamic web page technology. In the aspect of database, this system uses SQL SERVER 2012. The overall design of the system adopts the object-oriented thought, which enhances the overall architecture of the system and makes ideas of system analysis more clear.In the system design, we uses unified modeling language (UML) as a tool for the system analysis and design, drawing and analysis by using UML to make requirements analysis and system design on the recruitment business of system. And in terms of security, using multiple user authority management makes the security of the system greatly improved.This system realizes the basic flow function of Hunan City University enrollment management system, including professional maintenance management, registration management, data processing management, personal information management, message management, query and statistics management six business. On the basis of fully understanding the college recruitment business, according to the actual situation of Hunan City University enrollment management, we carry out a detailed design of the system and finally realize the process function of enrollment management system. In addition, the system takes full account of the difference between user’s own and sets permissions to users, which is divided into administrator, secondary administrators, and teachers three roles. Different roles have different permissions, and then system is designed by different permissions. In addition, the system makes humanistic management and function design for users who needed to log into system.The realization of the system makes the enrollment work of Hunan City University to be easy and smooth, gets rid of many shortcomings in previous manual operation, for example:manual error, records lost etc.. Using the system to enroll new students greatly improves the efficiency of enrollment, reduces a lot of unnecessary work, and reduces the working cost. In a word, the realization of the system is based on today’s high-tech technology, and it achieves efficient process operation, making later admissions office work fast and convenient.
