Compared with 4G, fifth generation mobile communications (5G) system will face more challenge.5G system needs to meet the demands of tremendous increase in the number of interconnected devices, continuous emergence of new services and application scenarios. And 5G also need to meet the demands of flexible deployment of network and integration of multiple wireless access, and take full advantage of the low and high frequency spectrum. Homogeneous network and the traditional orthogonal access technology have been unable to meet demand. In order to improve the overall system throughput and spectral efficiency, we propose a heterogeneous collaborative communication strategy with Pattern Division Multiple Access (PDMA) to meet explosive growth of data traffic. In this paper, the potential of three key technologies in 5G:Massive MIMO, ultra-dense network, the new multiple access technology. This paper analyzes the heterogeneous network convergence interference management algorithms and integration of heterogeneous network handover management mechanism, study the principles and pattern design features for PDMA. PDMA new multiple access technology is designed to focus on the time-frequency domain, spatial, power and spatial plus power domains. Single or can be used in the pattern design at the transmitter. Through joint design of transmitter and receiver, it can make users to superimposed in multiple signal domains and improve overall system performance. While the macro base station and the small base station cluster heterogeneous scenario, this paper apply PDMA new multiple access technique in this heterogeneous scenario, using the largest proportion of fair user scheduling mechanism and collaboration power allocation algorithm to improve overall system performance.Simulation results show that compared with the orthogonal access technology, the use of PDMA new multiple access technology can improve overall system throughput. In this study, we set up system level simulation platform based on the simulation results show that the heterogeneous collaborative communication strategy with PDMA can improve system throughput and spectrum efficiency. Also this paper research new multi-user superposition mode technology, simulation results show that with the increase that the number of superimposed users, the overall throughput of the system is an increasing trend, but the growth pattern tends to saturation.
