The Design And Implementation Of University International Student Management System

After years of development, computer technology has matured gradually, and integrated into the various sectors and fields, greatly affected the aspects of human’s life. In the field of education in colleges and universities, the use of computer technology to realize all kinds of work of informatization, automation has becoming more and more popular. In the face of increasingly large group of students, how to do a good job in the recruitment and management of international students of university to guarantee the smooth students recruitment and management,which has become an important problem to the management department of university that are not allowed to ignore.This paper mainly discusses the design and implementation process of university international student management system, using B/S+C/S double architectural patterns. On B/S architecture,uses the Jsp, JQuery, Ajax and other front-end web technology, and the classic Spring+Struts+Hibernate framework to realize the related functions of the international student individual applicants, mediation applicants, college admissions committee and the international student. On C/S architecture,uses Spring, Java GUI, XML, RMI technology and other technologys expanded encapsulate powerful custom UIMS technical framework,to realize the related functions of international student recruitment administrator and international students.The UIMS technology framework is based on XML technology defining a set of user interface similar to the Java GUI components, the import and export and fusion, print, send E-mail and other technology, and can easily be extended, with high efficiency, rapid finish development task.This paper solves the problems of inefficient and informatization of international students to apply for university international student admissions process, international affairs department audit, audit, school of the admission notice, related material report printing and management of newborn, student daily management, visa management and scholarship management.This paper first introduces the project background and the source of the project, domestic and foreign research dynamic and significance project, this article mainly work and organizational structure of university international student management system, and then through the communication with users, from the feasibility, functional and non-functional three aspects has carried on the demand analysis, and then to the project of the technical architecture design, functional architecture design, database design and detailed design and so on are introduced, finally introduced the realization process of system modules.University international student management system system has been officially applied in colleges and universities, and has been running well and stability during the period, more than 300 people have successfully applied and got admissions, and effectively improve the students management work efficiency of the international affairs department of shandong university.
