The Design And Implementation Of Illegal Radio Monitor Node Based On RTL-SDR

With the rapid development and wide application of radio technology, the proportion of the radio crime is increasing, the illegal broadcast is one of the most common forms of radio crime.Illegal radio spread bad information, disturb the radio management system and even harm to the surrounding people’s health, which bring a baneful influence to people’s life. Therefore, nowadays combating illegal broadcasting has become the main task of fighting radio crime, how to find illegal radio and how to determine the frequency, is the main content of combating illegal radio crime.In order to learning and mastering the technique of illegal radio monitoring, and apply this technology to practical purpose, we designed a illegal radio monitoring node which is highly interactive, open and strong based on the hardware of MATLAB software and RTL-SDR receiver. The Illegal radio monitoring node uses low cost software radio equipment RTL-SDR signal receiver, using the way to matlab program invokes Simulink model, give full play to the advantages of both finally realizes the system automatically scans the band 88MHz-108MHz, illegal radio monitoring, illegal radio play, send e-mail to monitor function module, and the Matlab GUI controls the operation of the whole system.Based on the realizing of the function of monitoring illegal radio,this paper uses the knowledge of TCP/IP protocol to transmitr the spectrum diagram and the illegal radio frequency to the client, and provide database storage service, which is convenient to operate and practise This monitoring node provides the opportunity to contact the actual signal, which can be widely used in education and research, We can deepen the understanding and master the technique of illegal radio monitoring by using this monitoring node.
