Distance Warning System Based On DSP

With the people’s demands to improve vehicle safety, vehicle safety on gradually from passive protection to active development of early warning, vehicle distance warning system has been very good development and progress. Vehicle distance warning system capable of before the accident to the driver to communicate warnings, so much so that a timely response to the driver before the accident.In this paper, for the shortcomings of the current vehicle warning system, the unity of the system has been improved. First of all vehicle distance warning systems in domestic and international level were compared and found deficiencies in the system to determine the driver characteristics, obstacle recognition, recognition among the road. Next to the RCS of different vehicles analyzed and solved using Feko ,, and software models to simulate different types of vehicles in order to distinguish between different levels of the vehicle RCS. Secondly, according to the different driving characteristics of the driver, the control information acquisition circuit is designed to collect the driver of the vehicle, and create a critical safety distance model-following mathematical model combining these two models as a vehicle distance warning system model of safe distance between vehicles. Then the hardware design of the system to DSP2812 chip as the core processor systems, designed the corresponding speed acquisition unit, a voice alarm unit, and use the CCS program the system. Finally, according to the driving characteristics of different vehicle types and different drivers in Matlab / Simulink software, its different traffic simulation. The simulation results show that this method vehicle distance warning system to improve the feasibility of, and the validity and reasonableness of such a design improvement methods.This study from the early warning system for the vehicle under different specific conditions for threatening judge has some theoretical and reference value for the vehicle distance warning system and promote its future development direction pointed the way.
