With the rapid development of wireless communication technology, the positioning service market is developing rapidly, and the demand of location services is increasing rapidly.At first, this paper analyzed the present research situation and development prospect of wireless location, then summarized the existing common wireless positioning theory and wireless positioning technology, analyzed their advantages and disadvantages. After that it analyzed the least square algorithm, algorithms with analytic solutions:Fang’s algorithm, Chan’s algorithm, Friedlander algorithm, recursive algorithm:Taylor series expansion method and then it simulated these three kinds of TDOA positioning algorithm. On the basis of this, a scheme of using Friedlander-Taylor cooperative positioning algorithm is proposed. In the stage of sampling phase, it proposed the improved Sinc interpolation algorithm. It can reduce the sampling frequency of the positioning system and ensure the positioning accuracy is not decreased. In the stage of processing positioning results we proposed the two-points-coordination criterion to optimize the positioning results and improve the positioning accuracy.Finally, the simulation of the whole wireless positioning system was made. The Matlab results showed that using Friedlander-Taylor collaborative positioning algorithm to solve TDOA nonlinear equations to estimate the location of the target node, using improved Sine interpolation to reduce positioning system sampling frequency and using two-points-coordination criterion to handle positioning results could achieve good positioning effect.
