The Research And Implementation Of Smart Home And Its Security System Based On Android Platform

Intelligent interconnection, one of the important directions of the booming information technology, has been put into use in every aspect of our daily life. And as a part of it, the concept of smart home is more likely to bring a huge impact to our cognition of traditional housing. Additionally the popularization of Android and IOS cellphone systems give us more accesses to the smart home, and make a smart home app. become a neccecity to its whole system.Thesis topic is derived from a project of province which named as “Smart Home System”, and the main task of the work discussed in this thesis is to design a smart home client application based on Android platform which is capable of remote controlling intelligent devices as well as displaying the key information in critical scene. The main module includes:(1)User login;(2)Infrared learning;(3)Device initialize and control;(4)Receive the community information push;(5)Run and shut down of the NDK compiled VPN Native program;(6)Sercurity module including gas leak warning and offline face match detect.Thesis firstly introduces the background, present situation, main contents and tasks of smart home system, discusses the related theory as well as the technique background, and then analyzed the overall demand of the system and its detailed functional and non-functional requirement. Furthermore, this thesis will give an illustration which cut through the software system’s architecture design and modules that have been mentioned supra. In this thesis, the working principle and implementation of VPN tunnal and face recognition technique will also be discussed.This subject eventually fulfills a safe, efficient and UI-friendly intelligent smart home mobile client. With this client, users can have a convenient access to device control, device status check, and home sercurity check.
