Wearable device as a new communications products, has been widely welcomed by users, giving users good experience and fashion sense. But how to design the antenna into wearable devices, particularly but also to ensure the relative performance of the antenna in the case of a highly integrated device, become a new challenge for the antenna designers. It requires to design a wearable terminal antenna which can overcome the influence of surrounding metal components and also meets the bandwidth we need.First, with the application and popularization of the Beidou navigation system, the domestic market have more and more interest in the terminal antenna of Beidou positioning. In the market is mainly GPS antenna and the profile of such antennas are still high. In order to gain a better profile and Gain, in this paper, we design a low-profile Beidou band wearable terminal circularly polarized antenna, and the antenna structure is placed inside the watch. We reduce the size of the antenna structure sufficiently, and get a lower profile height, and its structure is simple and easy to process, to achieve innovation.Then, all-metal frame smartphone because of its outer appearance and was widely welcomed. With the continuous improvement of the high-speed mobile communication technology and people’s living standards, people are no longer limited to enjoying the convenience brought by mobile communications and slowly turn to a variety of new features on the wearable device, wherein the metal frame of the smartwatch as the recent emergence of wearable device attracted the attention of the market. This paper designed a high-gain metal frame wearable terminal antenna, the metal frame antenna structure is designed to make full use of the metal frame.Finally, in order to increase the degree of communication with the wearable device with a wireless data network, it is necessary to design an antenna on the device to connect to a mobile communication network. Sometimes people hope smart wearable device can replace the mobile phone. This paper designed a strap-based wearable terminal antenna which resonance covers GSM850/900/1800/1900/UMTS2100/ LTE2300 / LTE2500 and other bands.This article design three wearable terminal antennas and has carried out tests related to near-field and far-field antenna test results, designed to meet the requirements of S11 and greater than 40% of the radiation efficiency. And we also do the study of SAR value on human wrist with the GPS and WiFi metal frame wearable antenna. The simulation and test results meet the requirements, the proposed antennas are in multi-frequency broadband technology and miniaturization design prospects.
