Study On Mobile Phone Antenna Loaded With Metal Frame

As humans enter the era of big data,a large amount of information needs to be transmitted,which will be a huge challenge for wireless mobile communications.As one of the most basic components of wireless mobile communications,antennas are undoubtedly the most direct impact on the development and advancement of wireless mobile communications.In recent years,mobile phone with metal frame is get favored by people for its texture and strength.However,the metal frame plays a role as a Faraday cage to some extent,shielding the electromagnetic field radiation of the mobile phone antenna,which may cause the frequency band of the mobile phone antenna to be narrowed and the efficiency to be low.In the design process of the mobile phone antenna,avoiding and borrowing the metal frame are used.And combined with antenna design technology,the design of metal frame mobile phone antenna is realized.The main work of this paper is divided into the following three parts:1.A printed slot phone antenna loaded with a metal frame is proposed.The antenna is composed of an open slit and a closed slit,occupying a clearance area of 70 mm*10 mm.By the feeding of the coupled line,the proposed antenna is capable of covering GSM850/900/DCS/PCS/UMTS2100 operating bands.2.A flat loop antenna loaded with a metal frame is proposed.The antenna is mainly composed of a loop antenna and a parasitic element,and occupies a clearance area of 70 mm*10 mm.By using an asymmetric structure,the antenna has changed from a conventional three-dimensional structure to a planar structure,which reduces manufacturing difficulty and cost.By the feeding of the coupled line,the proposed antenna is capable of covering GSM850/900/DCS/PCS/UMTS2100/LTE23002500 operating bands.3.A reconfigurable slot antenna for LTE/WWAN metal frame smartphone is proposed.The antenna consists of a T-shaped slot.By using reconfigurable technology,the clearance area is only 70mm*7mm.In addition,due to the "virtual short" phenomenon of the L-shaped coupled line,antenna successfully covers GSM850/900(824-960MHz),DCS/PCS/UMTS2100 and LTE2300/2500(1710-2690MHz)operations.
