Research On Identity Of Archival Workers

According to the data obtained from the questionnaire survey, the status of self identity and the identity of the social public to the archives workers were analyzed.Found that the identity anxiety is common among the archivists, mainly for the poor professional emotion experience, poor work environment satisfaction and low willingness of practitioners. Lower degree of social identity of the archivists mainly manifested in three aspects: the low recognition of the archives work values, low comprehensive quality of archivists and archives utilization. The identity crisis of the archivists has three aspects, it contains self-identity crisis and social crisis of identity, the core problem of the crisis of identity is the value identity, the development of identity crisis is the unity of the former and the twists and turns. The influencing factors of the identity of the archives workers are mainly four points,that is, the professional qualifications of the archives workers, the professional environment of the archives workers, the values of the archives workers and the social archives consciousness. Four measures are put forward, namely, to strengthen the professional education and personnel training; to improve the professional environment of archives; to realize the correction of the self values and the innovation of archival work.
