With the development of data services and the popularity of mobile Internet, in shopping malls, exhibition, hospital, passenger stations, airport terminals or other strange large-scale indoor environment, people have been accustomed to the aid of smart phones or other mobile devices to obtain their own positions; at the same time, the merchants also hope that through the analysis of users’ location information to provide a better quality of service. With the continuous improvement of people’s requirement of indoor positioning, but yet all the existing indoor positioning technologies are not the one which can meet people’s expectations on all aspects, including position precision, real- time positioning, positioning capacity and cost and so on.In this paper, a high precision positioning technology based on linear frequency modulated continuous wave(LFMCW) was proposed, which was based on the characteristics of indoor positioning. Based on this, the high precision indoor positioning algorithm based on LFMCW was analyzed, and an indoor positioning scheme was designed, at last, by the test of indoor localization, the feasibility of the indoor positioning technology based on LFMCW was verified.The main work of this paper includes:1. Studied to determine the signal system of high precision indoor positioningStudied and analyzed of the various indoor positioning technologies, combining the characteristics of indoor positioning, determined the signal system which is a new application in indoor positioning system: frequency modulation continuous wave signal(LFMCW).2. Analyzed the distance difference measurement algorithm based on the LFMCWOn the basis of determining the signal system of indoor positioning system, studied the algorithm of the distance difference measurement, and made the analysis of the discrete spectrum, studied the high precision distance difference algorithm; taking the indoor multipath effect into consideration, the signal propagation delay parameter and the amplitude parameter were studied; simulated and studied the performance of the distance difference measurement algorithm in multipath environment in different SNR;3. Studied the key issues in the indoor positioning based on the LFMCWStudied the optimization algorithm of distance difference measurement algorithm; on the basis of getting distance difference information, studied the indoor positioning algorithm; studied the positioning accuracy influence of station location and tag height error; designed the basic process of indoor positioning.4. Studied and designed indoor high-precision positioning system based on the LFMCWAccording to the analysis of the demand for positioning, designed the system parameters, designed a positioning system structure, and verified the system transmitting and receiving waveform.
