Study On The Archival Academic Review

Archival academic review is an integral part of the archival research, it plays an important role in regulate and guide the archival study style construction and discipline construction. Archival field realize the importance of archival review long ago, and have already promoted a lot of theoretical research and practical activities. During these years, with the continuously deepen of practical work, the discipline system have already been build. Archives have make great progress in many fields. But in this process, Archival field focus on solving the practical matters in daily works, there’s little study on archival review, the practice of archive academic review is also far from satisfactory. At the same time, the academic misconduct is not rare in archival field and the learning atmosphere is mot bustling, there’s lots of problems to be solved by the archival academic review.In the early 1980s,the concept of archival academic review had been recommended by scholars. After developing for several years,it has gotten rich achievements. Based on the previous research, i make a study on the archival review. And divided this article into three parts.The first part is the theory summary. First I make the definition of archival academic review, based on the previous research, I explain the concept by the way of intuitive description and abstract definition. And compare archival academic review with archival academic critics and archival academic evaluation to see the differences and relations. Secondly I divided archival academic review into four elementsrthe critical subject,the critical object, the critical media and the audiences. I point out the characteristics of the four elements and explain them in more details. After that, I classified archival academic review into three types by the form of outcome, the content areas and the attitude of writers. In view of the problems that may occur, I put forward three principles:the realistic principle, the innovation principle and the principle of moderation. At last, I describe the function of archival academic review and explain the important role of archival academic review in archival academic research.The second part is describing the present situation of archival academic review in our country, pointing out the problems and finding the reasons. I statistical the quantity of archival theoretical research articles, the questionable articles and the full number of archival research articles from 1988 to 2015. By comparing the data of three groups, I summarize the present situation of archival academic review in our country, and analyze the existing problems:the benefit rate of archival academic review is low, the profession team of review has not been formed and the academic journal construction is not good enough. After that, I try to find out the internal and external contradiction of these problems.The third part follow the reality, proposing countermeasures aiming at the problems. Main including:forcing implement of incentive mechanism to increase the efficiency; building a professional team of archival academic review; promoting upgrading constructing of academic journals.This study fetched from the definition and relative terms of archival academic review, pointing out the problems existed in the development of academic review and figure out the solving strategies. This study primarily aimed at appeal the archival circle to re-recognized the significance of archival academic review and actively participate in the archival academic review. I wish this study will be helpful to improve the present situation of archival academic review of our country.
