When we use a digital camera to collect text images,books often exist in the image of nature scene three-dimensional perspective deformation,and the deformation for text information extraction, especially in the late computer OCR will cause serious influence.In order to solve this technology problem,this paper proposed a text image distortion recovery algorithm based on reverse engineering.Starting from the three dimensional space technology,collected books of 3d model information by 3d scanner,through the method processing,general can realize distortion correction of thick books,back out the page rolling flat reverse effect.the test results show that the algorithm can effectively solve the problem of books about the distortion recovery, improve the OCR recognition rate.This paper first introduces the text image distortion correction algorithm research present situation, from the processing technology, it can be divided into 2d distortion correction and 3d distortion to two kinds of recovery.Then the paper studied the current mainstream the advantages and disadvantages of two-dimensional algorithm and 3d algorithm, through comparative analysis and puts forward a text image distortion correction algorithm based on 3d data of the research train of thought.Then, this article introduces in detail the book 3d model of collection and the method of texture mapping and processing,through 3d scanner pages of three-dimensional point cloud data and texture data.Then, the texture mapping to the page on the 3d mesh model, achieve the effect of reverse engineering.Then, in turn to model preprocessing, the space Z axis calibration,curved surface differential,the surface tension coefficient of computing the XY plane,three-dimensional inclined plane coordinates to the 2d plane coordinate mapping transformation,joining multiple faces together after faceted.Pretreatment can remove page edge point data of edge pixels, space Z axis direction correction can be good for coordinate transformation, using differential curved surface approximation for the plane, through the small surface after each differential stretch run flat, finally do together with them, so as to achieve recovery page distortion effect.Finally, according to this paper design, then this paper achieve the three-dimensional distortion the recovery algorithm.Through the test data comparison results show that the algorithm can be found in the book under the normal state of flat rolling flat books in distortion effectively.
