Design And Research On Surface Model Based On Reverse Engineering

With the rapid development of economy,science and technology,the application level of science and technology has enhanced unceasingly.The engineering manufacturing level has also advanced continually.A higher request for surface models has proposed.The design of surface models with complex model construction and higher design accuracy is distinguished from that of conventional models.The reverse engineering technology was brought into being because the consequent engineering couldn't meet the needs of the surface models design.The surface models were designed based on reverse engineering,three coordinate measuring machine and curved surface construction technology,taking the hub and the handset as a case study,the surface modeling techniques is studied.The main contents are as follows.Firstly,the application background,the application value and significance of reverse engineering technology was summarized.The research status at home and abroad was collected and arranged with the method of literature research.The development process,the methods of data acquisition and data processing of reverse engineering were stated and formed the research foundation of the research.Secondly,the development process and key technology of reverse engineering were held in order to realize the design of surface models perfectly.The three coordinate digital models of automobile wheel were constructed with the basic theories and methods of reverse engineering.The processes of model construction included data acquisition,data preprocessing,curve generation and surface construction,its precision meet the design requirements.Finally,the noise processing in the data processing,data resampling,curve NURBS establishing,feature extracting and model construction were researched by designing the three coordinate model of telephone receivers.The key technology of reverse engineering in the process of surface construction was expressed with two examples on the basis of the research at home and abroad.The research methods used in the paper could be applied to model design of similar projects and provide some references for model design.
