Expert system has been extensive used by various fields, but in the mining aided design software, the traditional auxiliary design software can only achieve a simple auxiliary operation, the software flexibility is poor. In order to make auxiliary design software to be more intelligent, expert system came into being. The expert system can simulate the experts to solve the complex design problems and then brainstorm solutions by expressing the knowledge. Mining aided design system can also take the same strategy to build the mining aided design software by using the core of the expert system, and make the s software more intelligent and efficient.However, in the process of the development of expert system, knowledge acquisition and reasoning method are still the key factors affecting the reliability and usability of the expert system. Under this background, this article in view of shaft sinking equipment selection and layout system to build the expert system, into study of the expert system reasoning, case retrieval algorithm, shaft sinking equipment layout rules and algorithm to ensure mine shaft sinking equipment selection and layout system’s usability and reliability. The main research results are as follows:(1) Aiming at the key problems in case-based reasoning(CBR) established the pre knowledge processing model, based on neural network classification algorithm for cases pre processing reduces the nearest neighbor algorithm of retrieval time, Dynamic pretreatment of the weight by combining information entropy weight calculation method and analytic hierarchy process.(2) Established shaft sinking layout searching algorithm, combined with the inference rules, the system rule reasoning results more reliable and easy to use.(3) The design software requirement and ObjectARX are combined to build a software design framework. The framework can shorten the software development cycle and meet the needs of software design. Finished the shaft sinking equipment selection and layout aided design software based on expert system, to achieve the desired function.
