A Comparative Study On The Construction Factors Of Libraries Of Sports Colleges And Universities Across The Taiwan Strait And Based On AHP

The function and service of libraries alter with the change of times. The rapid development of information technology realizes the expansion of work range of libraries from the field work. The construction of libraries which copes with the social development provides practical guidance for the work of libraries. For the sports colleges and universities, to optimize the approach of library construction so as to keep up with the pace of modernization is an important symbol of the quality of sports colleges and universities. Aiming at promoting the construction of libraries by using a comparative study on the construction of libraries of sports colleges and universities cross the Taiwan Strait in an over-all perspective is to give guidance to the library construction of sports colleges and universities and improve the operation quality.This paper obtains the model of Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) by adopting the methods of document investigation and interview. Then the survey method is used to collect data of suggestions on the construction of libraries from experts of sports colleges and universities and libraries across the Taiwan Strait. This research aims to identify the differences and similarities in the construction of libraries across the Taiwan Strait by using the AHP method and compare the construction practices in hardware, personnel, service, importance of atmosphere, and the gravity of the influencing factors under each attribute. The professional statistical software Expert Choice is used in statistics analysis.The research results show that personnel construction in the hierarchy of attribute is valued most as an attribute by experts of sports colleges and universities from mainland China, and they value most of the overall quality of librarians in the hierarchy of criteria as an attribute. As for experts from Taiwan, hardware construction in the hierarchy of attribute is regarded as the most important attribute and network construction in the influencing factors is most valued as a factor. The optimization approach of the construction of libraries of sports colleges and universities in mainland China is to be “people oriented”, focus on strengthening personnel construction, improve service quality on the basis of guaranteeing hardware construction, design appropriate layouts in atmosphere construction, and control noise.
