| Along with the development of computer technology and network,the library readers have a higher request on information services timeliness,the accuracy and the personal ization.To provide better service for readers becomes the needs of the information age.The data mining technology provides technical support to explore data resource.Today,data mining technology has attracted increasing attentions and becomes a hotspot of the current computer field.Its research focus also transfers from the discovery method to the system application,and pays attention to many kinds of discovery strategies and the technical integration as well as the multi-disciplinary between mutual seepages.Nowadays,the application domain of data mining is getting more and more widespread,from the early commercial application to scientific research,electronic commerce,product control,finance,education and teaching and other fields.The data mining technology provides technical support for libraries to apply digital resources in the organization and management,improve quality of service and expand service modes.And it now shows great vitality.We know that the library is the organization of system to collect literature and provide the literature information service.The collection is for a better service.This research is to discuss how to use data mining techniques to extract some common needs for the reads.Then we use it as groups push service,choose to purchase electronic databases,adjust service strategies such as the work of reference standards.This article has studied the data mining in the library management.Application of association rules mining and cluster analysis mining to find the latent useful rules,description,prediction for the management in database.Digging out the latent useful information provides for the management in database.Digging out the latent useful information provides the policy-making reference for the daily library's service information's management and decision support for the purchase of library books,readers services,collection directory settiongs,and so the management. The library system's data is mainly about the reader and the books information.And main target cilient of the library is also readers.By the analysis of the librarymanagement system,we proposed the goal model for library management system based on data mining as follows:(1)Readers's cluster analysis.Among readers,the degree of using library of each reader is different.To cluster readers,on one hand,we can understand the use degree of library's reader service.On the other hand,it can also helps to take different service measure for different readers.(2)Books cluster analysis.A library's collection is numerous.Some books are borrowed more times,welcomed by readers.Some books are borrowed few times,even not been borrowed.Just simply based on the total number of borrowing,it is different to fully reflect the extent of a book welcomed by readers.At the same time,different kinds of books,according to the characteristics of readers,its popular will be different.Therefore,the main purpose of books cluster analysis is to understand the popularity of books and make full use of library resources,to improve the utilization of books.(3)Books association analysis.As the same as the association rules in the application of goods basket,the books association analysis is also to provide some related books according to the reader the borrowing situation.(4)According to the above analysis,the result will carry on the practical application.By the data mining application in library management system,the information service system of library will be able to achieve higher satandard:(1)Providing the data support for the library user management decision and raising the service level and the quality.Using mined borrowing rule helps to improve scientifically borrowing and recommended service.Using rules of day and year cyclical liquidity helps to arrange scientifically work for circulation service sector whole year and daily.And according to different groups of borrowing amount,we can offer different services.(2)Providing scientific data support for daily business reasonable adjustment of libraries.By borrowing rules to increase the service project,arranging library personnel's work content scientifically using circulation periodic rule and adjusting the relevant departments work plan scientifically of the year and every day,we can improve work efficiency.(3)Providing the decision support for the library resources purchase.We use the borrowing rules to adjust the structure types of books and use the results of classification to find out the reader demand information and scientifically adjust the types and amounts of the purchased booksA... |
