Chronic glomerulonephritis is a widespread chronic disease, but it can not be cured by modern medical technology. In the long-term practice of treating chronic glomerulonephritis, Traditional Chinese Medicine have accumulated a large number of literatures and datas. For making full use of the rich experiences and knowledge, it is meaningful to information of Chinese medicine.In this thesis, we have combined with the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and data warehouse technology to discuss the issues of Chronic glomerulonephritis. The research work is as follows:1. We have converted text information to structured information by using entityrelationship model.2. For the establishment of data warehouse, we have analyzed the characteristics of Chinese Medicine and the pretreatment process, including unified terms、incomplete datas、extended attributes of medicine. For the syndrome、therapy、medicine,we have established standard terminology table to solve the inconsistency among the terms. We have stored the relevant information of literature to ensure the integrity of information and reduce the errors. For the many-to-many relationships between the medicine extended attributes and the medicines, the pretreatment process of the medicine extended attributes is realized by the establishment of the substances.3. We build the data warehouse. We have selected center data warehouse architecture as the architecture of the system by analysizing the 5 elements. We have selected syndrome-treatment subject, treatment-efficacy-medicine subject, prescription-effectcy subject, prescription-attending subject as the research point based on principle of Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis.In the syndrome-treatment subject, we use syndrome、treatment、 prescription to describe the treatment plan. The treatment-efficacy-medicine subject is used to investigate the aggregation relationship between treatment and efficacy. The prescription-efficacy subject validate the principle "prescription according to the treatment" by the relationship between efficacy and treatment. Prescription-attending subject is used to describe applicable scope of prescription. We apply the method of dimensional modeling to establish model for each subject and designs granularity about syndrome and treatment. Finally, we implement the ETL, OLAP, report presentation function for each subject.
