Design And Implementation Of Online Examination System Under The Complex Condition Of Generating Test Paper

As a conventional means of testing the teachers’ teaching effect and students’ learning, examination has been used for a long time. In recent years the examination has become the common way of identification of skills and capability evaluation.Examination’s function and content are evolving, but in many areas the way of examinations still has not changed. Its characteristics are artificial proposition and using paper papers, the entire examination process is time consuming, laborious, inefficiency,and need huge resource consumption.In past few years, internet technology and computer science and technology have been greatly developed, through the use of these two technologies, the traditional work of the examination has also developed a new way, that is, the online examination.Examinees can login online examination system by computer through the computer network and finish their exams on the web pages. A fully mature online examination system also has efficient data management, question bank, automatic generating paper system. By setting the paper’s parameters, the system can generate paper automatic.The task of this thesis is finish the design and implementation of an online examination system, supplies service for the researcher’s school. Then some traditional teaching and continuing education can hold their exams on this system. This can save manpower, resources, time, and promoting the development of digital office.In order to achieve efficient and safe management and storage of data in the system,the data management part of this system will use SQL Server relational database system,and the system itself will use three layer architecture based on Java EE. The online examination system using the MVC mode, it realizes the separation of view, controller and model, so the development of the system will be easy. After the completion of system development, we will provide a comprehensive platform for system administrators, teachers and students. In this system, the administrator can not only use the administrator module to input or edit all the teaching and examination information but also release examination announcement. Teachers can maintain the question bank,generate papers. Examinees can login the system through the network, use the browser to complete the examination and check the examination results.The design and implementation of the system converts manual operation to computer operation during the examination process. The system can simplify the process, reduce labor intensity, improve work efficiency, and save funds. And because of the characteristics of based on the network, it breaks through the limitation of the space-time, provide more convenient for teachers and students in their studying and working.
