With rapid development of modern science & technology, increasingly expanding of socialization of production, management plays a more and more important role. Freight yard, as the business window of railway transportation enterprises, is the place where freight transportation is handled. The goods to be transported by railway is accepted, maintained, loaded/unloaded and delivered at freight yards[1]. In a freight yard, a large number of employees from various work types of railway enterprises work together, and many external operators like shippers and consignees and a variety of short-distance transport means also involve transportation activities. In the recent years, with deepening of reform and opening-up, the system “one business-focusing and diversified operation” is applied toward freight yards, and freight yards are encouraged to develop trading markets. Qualified freight yard may develop materials trading markets dealing with timber, construction materials, cement, granary, fruits, vegetables, etc., thus forming new logistic hubs. In this way, the freight yards’ equipment is fully used, freight yard assets are revitalizedand functions of freight yards developed and improved. The freight yard that implements enterprise-based operation and management system not only serves as the delivery destination of the goods, but also can be applied toward goods warehousing, wholesale, property management and product processing in the form of self-running or joint operation by taking advantages of railway premises, equipment, communication and information. In this way, the freight yards’ line of business is further widened. Freight yard gains newconnotations.Therefore, efficient market management is of great significance in terms of reasonable use of freight yard equipment, full use of freight yard operating capabilities, improving service quality and achieving safe, rapid, economical and convenient freight transportation, and imposes strong influence upon improvement of railway economic benefit and social benefits. For this end, more efforts shall be done to improve establishment of freight yard. Especially, great importance shall be attached to construction of railway freight yards where sound warehouses, canopies, loading & unloading machines and areas shall be arranged to improve service infrastructures and provide perfect service functions, thus providing necessary material conditions for attracting consumers and serving freight owners. Freight yard management shall comply with the following basic requirements: Application of modern management methods and advanced technical equipment, improving operation quality and dispatching efficiency, satisfying demands of freight owner as can as practicable, respecting the will of freight owners, and comprehensively improving service quality. In addition, freight yards shall be responsible for completing freight transportation and ensuring freight safety. Best efforts shall be made to implement civilized service, scientific management and standard operation, and unceasingly enhance the transportation containerization and loading/unloading mechanization level. For freight yards, standard operation procedures shall be established, so as to maintain a safe, house-keeping, tidy and unimpeded environment.This subject aims to build best-quality wireless networking equipment, and establish a wireless wideband network supporting high mobility, confidentiality and anti-interference performance, thus meeting the requirements of railway freight yard onsite business [2]. At present, LTE is put into commercial use only for a short term. This subject, based on TD-LTE technology, intends to develop wireless clustering system to meet the requirements for freight yard wireless network communication, freight yard clustering operation dispatching and visual monitoring businesses.This Paper firstly introduces the status quo and development history of railway freight yard management and, by combining the research and development results at home and abroad, sets forth the practical significance of wireless clustering system of railway freight yard, and analyzed the main technical routine and implementation scheme of this subject. Then, this Paper introduces the significance and value of this subject from theoretical and application aspects[3]. In addition, this Paper explains the technical routes and implementation proposals by presentation of system networking diagram, system use case diagrams, interface design drawing, progress module arrangement and module function division.
