In the case of smart phones were using widely, manufacturers have to seek a better performance of the capacitance screen,such as higher control precision, better anti-interference ability and so on. In the premise of capacitance screen automatic production, improving the touch screen performance, except using a new high performance material, another way is to improve the performance about laminating machine. At present the laminating machine alignment are using mechanical positioning, by manually install lamination material. In the alignment process may easy to make the wrinkles resulting in poor product, and the alignment speed and alignment accuracy is also unable to meet the production requirements of touch screen. This paper pointed at the alignment accuracy problem about turning plate laminating machine. Combining with machine vision and a x, y, theta three-axis motion platform to provides a alignment laminating scheme about double aligning and turning plate laminating and the alignment accuracy of attached.In this paper, the main research work is as follows:1. By investigating the working principle and equipment status about the turning plate laminating machine, putting forward a double aligning and turning plate laminating machine design, which combined with automatic feeding control mechanism and machine vision detection position deviation and a X-Y-theta alignment platform to implementation of a high alignment automation and alignment accuracy.2. Designing the X-Y-theta three axis motion alignment platform. And through analyzing the degrees of freedom about the alignment platform mechanism. Establishing the kinematic equation and used it to analyze the movement of platform.3. Based on the SOLIDWORKS to establish a 3D model about the X-Y-theta alignment platform, using ADAMS and MATLAB to analyze the simulation of alignment platform motion. And it verified the correctness of design, structure and motion equation of the platform.4. Based on the requirements about the turning plate laminating machine, designing visual fitting precision detection system. Studying the edge detection and line detection method based on Hough transform. Designing the image pre-processing procedure and the material localization algorithm procedures, and then developing the vision inspection system of double counterpoint turn plate laminating machine by the MATLAB5. Analyzing the error about visual position detection system and alignment of the platform motion, and then building the the test platform of turn plate laminating machine alignment system to test the alignment precision of alignment system. At the end, research on alignment system error compensation and optimization methods.
