The leakage of flammable gas generally exists in the petroleum, chemical,natural gas and other industrial production process. Combustible gas leakageaccident may cause equipment damage, environmental pollution, or even causeserious explosion accident. With the progress of science and technology and thedevelopment of industrial production, the testing requirements of the combustiblegas in industrial production continuous improve. In order to detect thecombustible gas effective and timely, this paper presents a combustible gas sensorcontrol scheme based on constant temperature method. The system uses PICmicrochip as the core processor, and detects the flammable gas concentration bymeasuring the PWM duty ratio formed by constant temperature circuit.This paper has to comb and summarize all kinds of combustible gasdetection method, and determined the use of catalytic combustion type gasdetection method, compared and analyzed the new constant temperature detectionmethod and the conventional constant voltage constant current method, andfinally completed the design of industrial combustible gas detector system thatbased on determining the relationship between pulse width modulation and gasconcentration signal. The hardware system design provided modular processingand the power supply circuit, modulation constant temperature control circuit,current output circuit,485bus output circuit and other peripheral circuits weredevised. We finally completed the PCB drawing, debugging and testing. Thesoftware design mainly completed the system main function, infrared remotecontrol, calibration, signal processing, the design of temperature compensation,and the system output procedures.The article performed some tests on the prototype machine. And the testresults show that this industrial combustible gas detector fully meets the national standard requirements of industrial measurement also can be able to achieve goodexpectations and this detector should have wide market application prospect inpractical application.
