Design And Implementation Of Conference Management System Based On SSH

With the increasing academic meetings, the demand for the information management of conferences is increasingly urgent. However, the development of domestic academic conference management system is not mature yet. In light of this, a conference management system based on SSH framework is proposed in this paper. More specifically, this paper focused on the following aspects.The system is separated into eight modules by analysising system functional requirements, such as meeting application module, conference information management module, paper submission module, paper auction module, papers distribution module, paper evaluation module, paper acceptance module, and user management module. User platform is differentiated according to system requirements, the user platforms can be platform for system administrators, platform for the chairman of conference program committee, platform for conference administrators, platform for paper authors and platforms for experts.Process control, business transfer and database operations are separated utilizing MVC design pattern and a combined framework of Struts2+Spring4+Hibernate4. Regarding of paper distribution function, paper assignment algorithm, which is a combined algorithm of Hungary’s algorithm and Kuhn-Manhattan’s algorithm is used, and therefore, optimal matching of assignments is achieved without violating constraints conditions.In summary, this system provides a rigorous infomationize mode of management, improves effectively the quality and the efficiency of conference practical work, avoids the misallocation of manual paper distribution results and achieves the information construction of conference management.
