Design And Implementation Of PHP-based Conference Management System

Along with the rapid development of information technology and the quick popularity of Intemet , combined with growth in the number of domestic and international academic conferences,expansion in the scale and improvement in the requirement,the traditional conference operational model has not adapted to the requirement for information transfer and work efficiency,and has showed significant deficiencies and shortcomings.Therefore,organization and management of academic conferences needs the use ofmodem network information technology.The main purpose of this paper is to research and develop a Web—based conference management system.The system mainly provides conference management for participants and administrators , such as registration , information collection , hotel accommodation,statistical analysis,system maintenance and SO On.Firstly,this paper expounds the background,significance and status of the research subject,and makes the research necessity clear.Secondly,WIMP(Windows+IIS+ MySQL+PHP)development platform,server-side Codelgniter framework and client—side jQuery framework are introduced,and the reasons for the choice are explained. Next,on the basis of in—depth analysis and comparison of the UML and WebML software development methods,the UML method is used to build system model. Detailed documents and models of the system business requirements,functional requirements and data requirements are established . Finally,system function modules,database and overall structure are designed.Combined with system operation and test results,detailed design and improvement programs are given.
