The Analysis Of E-book Research Based On Information Visualization

With the wide application of Internet technology, traditional publishing organizations have begun to digital transformation. As an important part of digital publishing,the development of e-books has attracted wide attention.After Amazon Kindle enter the market, e-books ushered in an unprecedented period of prosperity, a lot of experts even predicted that "paper books will die". However, after experiencing a brief explosive growth, the electronic books began to enter the bottleneck, such as the format is not unified, copyright issues poor reading experience is becoming increasingly prominent. For the global e-book sales dropped in 2015, the industry have doubts about the future of books.To discuss this problem, I take the information visualization theory as the instruction, based on the domestic and foreign e-books research,then use the method of comparative analysis, citation analysis, content analysis and other research methods,applying Cite Space software to process the relevant data processing, so as to further analyze the research subjects(including individuals,organizations,countries,etc.), research frontiersand the research hotspot.The beginning is the analysis of the present situation and the innovation of global e-books, and the significance and the research methods of this article, in addition,and emphatically introduce the concept of e-book;The first chapter introduces the concept,characteristic and type of information visualization,and one of the forms of information visualization——knowledge map and one of the information visualization tools——Cite Space is briefly introduced; The second chapter,from macroscopic to microcosmic, I have carried on the induction analysis about the study of ebook subject to know global research direction and research results with relevant personnel, relevant institutions and related national in the field of e-books;The third chapter I make use of literature cited map, on the basis of the electronic documents in the Web of Science database, probes the research front of e-books; The fourth chapter,using comparative analysis method and keywords co-occurrence graph both at home and abroad, I summarized the research hot spot, and comparing the difference between the e-book research situation at domestic and international. The last chapter is conclusion and prospect, I sum up the research conclusion of e-book, and cogitate the existing problems and shortcomings.
