Design and Implement of Office Automation System for Public InstitutionWith the popularization of computer technique, especially for network technique,office automation system is well developed. To keep pace with the technique developing and integrate into global community, public institutions in our country is gradually implementing paperless office and the office automation. In order to providing the public with better service, public institutions in our country should be efficient and innovative, and the office automation is the key to achieving this target.After years of development, most of public institutions in our country are equipped with computer equipment, which can meet the requirement of office automation. With the development of the electronic information technology, public institutions are managing a good deal of data and information, including collecting,classifying, analyzing and archiving, which is a heavy work for people. Therefore, the office automation system is essential.In this paper, the background, purpose and meaning of the research is introduced firstly. After that, a brief description the development of office automation system is given. Next, this paper studies needs analysis and feasibility analysis for the design of office automation system. Based on this and service oriented architecture, an office automation system is developed which can meet the requirement of public institutions.On the basis of the design, the office automation system is implemented. The function of the system mainly includes personal affair management, workflow setting,administrative management, information management, manpower management,document file management and system management and so on. In the end, this paper carries out system testing and the result is satisfying. The office automation system implemented in the paper is designed to meet the general requirement of public institutions. Hence, it is universal and can be well developed in the next.
