Human beings receive information from the outside that mainly relies on visual. Visions of digital camouflage mainly include size, shape, color, texture in which color holds an important status. It is not enough that rely on intuition without profound to the physical, physiological and psychological of digital camouflage color understanding. Therefore the color designing in the digital camouflage designing is essential part. As a guide of color science, psychophysics and theory of human vision, analyz the mixing effect of the digital camouflage. Through scientific and reasonable experiments, digital camouflage designing is provided as an important reference.Digital camouflage uses the principles of human visual. It causes human to have the illusion, thus it will achieves camouflage effect. When digital camouflage is closely watched, it usually shows a minor and small square pattern, but with the distance of observation gradually far, color of small unit blocks will become blurred, then space mixing is occured. This will form a large plaque camouflage image that boundaries are not obvious. Therefore, mixing color of digital camouflage, in what kind of situation can color mixing occurs, factors of mixing color affecting and results of mixing color are worth researching and analyzing deeply. This paper will make the design of digital camouflage more scientific, and it would achieve much better camouflage effect.This paper explains the phenomenon of mixing color first. It compares the mixing color of digital camouflage with two color blending, then explores the phenomenon of digital camouflage color mixing theory. It still designs basic scheme and practice of experiment and summing up the affect of area proportion of digital camouflage units. Digital camouflage is basically in line with additive color mixing in the color visual theory. The change of lightness, hue, and saturation affects result of mixing color. It uses imagery processing correlation splicing technology, and research digital camouflage effect of stitching, then mixing effect after splicing is evaluated.As a result, it verify the characteristics of digital camouflage further. To some extent, it provides a theoretical basis for the design of digital camouflage.
