Mobile video surveillance system is based on smart phones, tablet computers and other mobile devices as a receiver, enabling portable, real-time view and alarm, remote monitoring and other functions. The concept of "Safe City", "harmonious society" and people’s safety consciousness improved has injected a strong market driving force for the video surveillance. In this environment, mobile video surveillance systems have become competing research focus.IOS is an operation system which developed by Apple.Inc for their iPhone, iPad and other smart products. With the high-resolution, high intelligence, high fluency, extensive software support and other advantages, they are favored by the majority of consumers.This thesis design and implement mobile video surveillance client based on IOS operation system, the main contents and innovations are as follows:1. Aiming at the demands of current mobile client software high user experience and easy to operate, the interface control framework of IOS operation system is studied, and a variety of custom types of control are designed as the interface layout of the video surveillance client. Greatly improve the video surveillance client’s appearance, easy operation and other characteristics.2. The influence of video decoding rate on video surveillance image resolution is analyzed. Beause of the video frame supported by IOS operation system is not much and the decoding rate is not high, by transplanting the FFmpeg open source video decoding library, researching and optimizing of the decoding process, which can improve the decoding rate of video surveillance client and support a variety of common video format. Therefore, it provides a strong support for the video surveillance client, such as clear display and expansion.3. Aiming at the demands of voice intercom, the Audio Toolbox framework of IOS operation system comes with the Core Audio is studied, design of the audio queue to encode, decode and transmission the collected audio data, then realize the voice intercom function of video surveillance client.4. Aiming at the abnormal information of the equipment catched, the alarm push function is designed. Through the research remote push notification mechanism in IOS operation system, used the APNS technology in IOS, and combined with the video surveillance center, alarm server and Apple server, the front-end equipment to catch and collect the abnormal information will be automatically pushed to the user’s mobile phone, so as to make timely warning to users.
