Zibo power company gradually promoted standardized management of the implementation of spare parts of power transmission equipment, and enhanced the intelligentized and three-dimensional management capability of spare parts. Local power grid works had been able to carry out normally under this standardized management with high stability and reliability. And because of the uncertainty of people, the management work of buyers and warehouse keepers existed several shortcomings, such as heavy workload of inventory, long cycle and low efficiency. Zibo power companies recognized that only by building a information management system, which taking computer as the core, to support overall business to resolve the current bottleneck in the management of pare parts of power transmission equipment. Although the current domestic and overseas power companies and enterprises used the new information technology management way, but with limited technical level, it cannot well assist daily business management of the company.The Zibo power company management system of spare parts of transmission equipment was developed in this context. This system mainly used object-oriented design method, MVC design pattern, B/S architecture, and took Spring+Struts+ Hibernate to the overall logic design in coding. The development language that the system used was UML, Unified Modeling Language, and Java programming language, and the relational database SQL Server 2014 was used as a support for back-end business data. Technical architecture of the system abandoned the traditional system design approach so that making business data more reliability and security.The system was fully integrated with daily business requirements of spare parts of transmission equipment in Zibo power company, and the overall design of the system development was completed by drawing on the experience of similar systems developed at home and abroad. The main roles of this system were buyers, warehouse keepers and system administrators in Zibo power company, and the core business covered most parts of daily management of spare parts of transmission equipment in Zibo power company. The system achieved real-time statistics and analysis of spare parts stock, helped buyers and warehouse keepers manage and control procurement plan and in-out stock information of spare parts, and intelligently carried out video surveillance and dioramas of equipments. This intelligent management of spare parts transferred the equipment statistics work form writing to electronic recording, truly implementing standardized spare parts management, and enhancing the level of lean management.The development and use of the system will be able to greatly enhance the management of spare parts of transmission equipment in Zibo power company and ensure the healthy operation of the management. The system will also provide support for the management of the local power grid operation, ensuring the stability of the local and even our country’s power grid operation.
