As in the era of mobile Internet, the intelligent mobile phone has brought huge influence to our daily lives and processing personal business by mobile phone has become a trend as well. Meanwhile, location based services gains an increasing importance on daily life, such as surrounding service search and guide line navigation, etc. In order to help people find destination fast and accurately in large buildings, indoor location and navigation technology research have become very important in recent years, and also shown wide commercial prospects.First of all, the thesis analyzes the background of the subject and indoor positioning navigation technologies development prospects and advantages based on development trend at home and abroad. After the introduction of the relevant technology, I focus on the main algorithms applied in the system. A* algorithm can achieve point to point navigation for route planning function in the mobile client.The location server uses an improved Wi-Fi-based fingerprint library matching algorithm to locate. The secondary positioning method ensures that the method remains high positioning accuracy with a lower density fingerprint database. It enables users to communicate via the server and the client to find the user-specified destination on the map. More specifically, the secondary positioning method is a segmented positioning method, the first to use KNN algorithm to locate the beginning and then use linear interpolation to generate a new fingerprint database using Gaussian overlap to relocate. In the part of system design and implementation with a large supermarket as background, there are three main functional modules in this system, including indoor positioning module, shopping list guide module and friends searching module. In the meanwhile I extended the other shopping-related functions to improve user satisfaction.Finally, I realized the indoor shopping guide system. The system test and analysis demonstrates that the system achieves design requirement very well and can be used as an indoor shopping guide system for users to get better services.
