With the advancement of computer, electronic and other industries of human civilization’s rapid development in recent years, medical electronic equipment are more and more attention. Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) is derived in recent years as the new medical information system. It has a close relationship with the computer medical equipment, medical procedures, medical staff, patients and many other aspects, with stability, security and intelligent. Today, with the advent of the aging of population problem of the world, especially in China, the WBAN received more and more attention from all the society.In this thesis, we researched the core technology of the wireless body area network system, and studied the Zigbee network communication protocol. We analyzed the development and application of radio medical industry and designed a medical wireless safety monitoring system. The system was designed by the communication protocol of physical layer and MAC layer, that to study security coordination mechanism and real-time data transmission protocol. At last we designed and implemented the PC software and client systems. In our system, a security coordination framework on the physical layer was designed based on the Wicop protocol, which protects the medical system wireless signals, effectively avoids the interference of commercial WiFi and other wireless signals. At the same time, a wireless MAC protocol based on TDMA was designed, which effectively avoids the interference among the various medical wireless signals to ensure the system’s real-time data transmission.The design of the protocol stack is based on the Zigbee protocol; using TinyOS operating system designed the wireless sensor nodes, and realized the MAC layer protocol with the SORA software defined radio platform developed by Microsoft. Finally we completed the security coordination architecture design. Client system was based on PHP technology, achieved client function by accessing MySQL database. In this thesis, the system design based on the software development standard process, including requirements analysis, design, database design and coding development, etc., and at last eventually passed the test and analysis. The systems meet the needs of the practical application.
