Automatic positioning service is based on Internet of things, which is very important function in all walks of life, such as cargo tracking in the logistics industry, the manufacturing of production data monitoring and coal mine personnel positioning and management of the taxi, and the most commonly used GPS satellite navigation function. We cannot leave the automatic positioning services. All in all, automatic positioning service is closely related to our life and has a wide application in all walks of life.With the development of science and technology, wireless communication has become an effective way to transfer information. Following computer and Internet, twenty-first century sees the development of the Internet of things. Things in the world are associated with each other by the Internet of things. Information of things can be passed by the net. Because of the existence of the Internet of things and the intelligence information development, student management work in colleges and universities also conform to the trend of the information age, becoming an information based society management pattern. Student management system of this article is based on the research background mentioned above.First in this paper, the brief introduction of the Internet of things has been carried on, including the current research of the Internet of things, Internet system, the relevant technology of the positioning system based on Internet of things, which emphasis on the object identification technology, key technology such as transmission network.This article mainly aims at the sensor part of the system and part of the client software design in detail is introduced. The design of the software part includes RFID middle-tier access design, the design of the database server layer, the design of the application server layer and the client’s design. Software system using object-oriented system engineering method, the overall architecture is based on. NET development platform, used in the programming language is c # and ASP, and through ADO based on. NET architecture for database management, data transmission using the XML structure. In the above techniques with the help of the completed the overall architecture of the system design, system running environment demand, the main function module of function structure design, function module e-r diagram, database design, interface design, etc.At last, this article summarizes the characteristics of the student management system in this paper, pointing out the defects of system, The Internet of things students positioning system application in the campus management has been discussed, making a prospect for the development of the Internet of things.
