The melamine incident in 2008 brings a lingering shadow among the Chinese, and an unprecedented crisis of faith in food safety breaks out. The public is eager to get more product information to ensure food safety, and the government hopes to have more powerful means to monitor food safety information. In this case, electronic traceability system is imperative enforced in the food industry, especially in infant food industry. Electronic trace system is firstly enforced in pharmaceutical industry with good effects, and now it’s carried out in food industry(enforced in baby food). By using electronic and network to fully trace the food quality, it makes the products’ information and circulation transparent, which not only helps enterprises to solve the problem of crossing selling in different areas, but also set up the confidence of consumers and enhance product bonding strength further. The research focus of this thesis is mainly on full trace system of milk powder industry. Data and information of all factors that could influence the products quality is collected, such as milk source, milk reception, dosage, packing, transportation and marketing etc. and then control the production process seriously based on the actual situation to make sure all necessary information in each process section could be collected in time. Once the collected data deviates from the standard, then there’ll be an alarm and corrective actions will be taken soonest possible. If a quality incident takes place, the specific product information, root cause and even the incident responsible person can be found through the system; and then the system could provide with precise recall information and products would be recalled finally.1. Designing of systematic structure; 2. The choice of data medium; 3. Data collecting ways; 4. Software development of the system; 5. Requirements of the hardware in the system;...
