Along with the rapid economic development and the people living standard, inaddition to change rapidly, there are a variety of problems, such as pollution of theenvironment, such as food security.Let people to be happy with the social progress,but to be sad with the heavy price at the same time,which was bring by economicdevelopment, or personal gain. Multi-channel food safety analysis system designedfor the business of food safety problems at the people most concerned about.The ARM processor used by this study is the Samsung Corp’s S3C2410A, whichis based on the ARM920T kernel, the16/32RISC instruction set, the internalintegration of the memory controller, MMU, as well as a large number of peripheralcontroller. It has the advantages of small volume, low power consumption, fastoperational speed and so on. In addition, the system is also equipped with LCD,keyboard, SD card, USB keyboard and other peripheral devices. Among them,theLCD and USB keyboard can be independent terminal and console, SD card is used tostore the test results and applications,and the network card is used to build the NFSfile system between PC and embedded devices.About the system, this paper uses the Linux2.6operating system kernel andYaffs file system. Linux operating system kernel and Yaffs file system is open sourcecode, which can reduce the overall cost of the system, but also have many opensource community support. In addition, the Linux operating system has high stability,good scalability, easy maintenance and so on, is preferred by the operating system ofembedded equipment. The Yaffs file system is a file system with log function, andsmall volume, complete functions makes it be applied by many embeddedapplications. In addition, according to the system’s hardware peripherals, this paperalso expatiates their driver transplantation process.In the application layer,we use QT as the graphics interface development tool,which is a cross-platform C++graphical user interface library. A lot of rich widgets,API, as well as various documentation, has brought great convenience for the development.This paper is a multi-channel food safety analysis system on ARM, this systemuses the tungsten lamp as the light source, monochromator as light splitting element,and uses photoelectric acquisition technology to convert the optical signal intoelectrical signal for the A/D converter. And do the absorbance calculation and samplecontent calculation according to the collected data and the Lambert-Bill’s law. LCD,keyboard,SD card are used to display,operate and storage test results.
