University Intelligent Classroom Internet Of Things System

In the teaching activities of universities, the classroom is one of the most important places to learn experience and to accept professional education and practice for students. The key to improve the teaching quality of higher education and the quality of students’ learning experience is due to good classroom management and interactive teaching. Traditional classroom management mode seems weak when faces to modern teaching needs and professional characteristics. Based on the internet of things technology, it becomes a direction of teaching management in higher education development, which needs the classroom management, student attendance, equipment management, teaching and learning activities be integrated into the smart classroom application system of internet of things in the form of hardware and software.The paper described the research background, analyzed the feasibility and demand of university smart classroom system, and summarized the system functional requirements, such as indoor environment intelligence perception, indoor lighting, doors or windows and teaching equipments status in real-time intelligent monitoring and control, intelligently turning on and adjusting air condition or ventilation fans, the teaching display status monitoring. Through the internet of things technology, it transceived and processed the information of a variety of sensors and equipments in the classroom, etc. On this basis, it expounded the design scheme of university smart classroom system based internet of things, and researched the system architecture design, system network architecture design, system function module design in detail and so on. Finally, after the whole system programmed, it carried out the installation and debugging, then verified the feasibility of this system.
