In recent years,with the rapid development of embedded system,it gradually penetrated into all walks of life for its characters,such as esay development,small volume,low power consumption and portability etc. It has become an indispensable part of people’s life. At the same time, in the continuous development of network technology, an embedded system combined with network can send and receive information anytime and anywhere. Information interaction is especially important in all walks of life, in the military a message can determine success or failure.This design is set in military communications. Based on embedded system development platform, comebined with GPS module, RFID module, camera module and wireless network card,design a information collection terminal,which can geographical position information,authentication information and image information.The system can collect information by triggering radio frequency card,the information can display on LCD,then send to server through wireless network.Based on the working mode of wireless network card,the terminal Can use wireless network for data interaction,it also can interact with data without wireless network. It can guarantee the uniqueness of the information,which include the cardholder’s identity authentication information,the geographical position information and the uniqueness serial number.In this article, firstly, introduce the overall design of the system,software architecture,hardware architecture and the environment of software development.Secondly,introduce hardware design and software design of the system,the hardware design includes the core processor S3C6410,the design of the peripheral circuit, a GPS module circuit design and circuit design of RFID module, describe the principle of each module and the hardware performance.The software design includes program to realize information acquisition, wireless network card driver compilation and transplantation, network programming implement information transmission. JPEG decoding and Post Professor hardware scaling architecture can implement Image acquisition, information display is realized through reading and writing framebuffer, using the transmission control protocol TCP to guarantee the reliability of information transmission.Finally,introduce the implementation of this system and tests.Through the implementation of the system, after running and debugging constantly, the system runs stably.It can collect location information,the identity authentication information and image information successfully,and transmitted through the wireless network.The system achieves the expected goal.
