Study On Interaction Design Of Intelligent Wearable Products Based On Metaphor

Intelligent wearable products’ definition is a genus of portable intelligent electronic devices which integrated into the user’s garment, because of its specialties powerful functions, easy to be carried on, the feature of environmental adaptability, and some other characteristics, this type of products are gradually stepping into user’s life. Under the theme of design of "user centric", consumers are paying increased attentions on the interactive design and experience of products along with the improved requirements from the same group people. Considering the variety and complex operation behaviors of intelligent wearable products, then the recognizable and operable of the interactive system is the vital part to develop. The paper is based on the interaction theory, studies how to design interactive system of intelligent wearable products by the means of metaphor expression.In the paper, we initially study the concept, relevant factors and cognitive process of metaphor, then analyze and summarize the role of metaphor in product design in related case. Secondly, paper analyze the metaphorical expression and its classification, also sum up the principles of the realization of metaphorical interactive design and the methods of it. Then, the basic characteristics, behavior patterns and interactive behavior of intelligent wearable products are analyzed, use this basis, paper construct an interactive design model of intelligent wearable product based on metaphor. At the end of thesis, by using the constructed interactive design model, paper carry out a specific design for wearable products of the group people have drive demands.In conclusion, the metaphor, expression classification and realization method in the interactive design were analyzed in the paper, and an interactive design model of intelligent wearable product was established based on metaphor, in which provide a theoretical reference for the interactive design of wearable products.
