With the rapid development of science and technology, the application of sensor technology has been very widely, mainly involved in the fields of measurement, control and information, and has become one of the core of the high technology. In order to obtain the stable, reliable and high accuracy information of the load cells, effective error calibration and compensation of the sensor must be carried out. Load cells is an important branch of sensors, with the requirement of the error calibration and compensation of load cells is higher and higher, the constant innovation of the variety and structure of load cells, its technical functions and application scope is also expanding. The traditional creep error detection device of load cells has the disadvantages of poor stability, low test efficiency, large testing error and so on. Therefore, it is necessary to redesign a new type creep error detection device of load cells, to improve the existing shortcomings of the device. The main research contents and results are as follows:(1) Analysis of the creep error detection principle of load cells, the reason of creep error and the compensation method of creep error. According to parallel beam type load cells of L6 D type, to study the mechanics properties, stress analysis of the elastic components and the theoretical calculation(2) Design of a new type creep error detection device of load cells, the innovation point lies in used two conical and two inverted conical structure between connection of set of weights and the cylinder, the two structure matched with each other so that the weight group is driven by the cylinder to load and unload, then can realize automatic centering function, to ensure the stability of the set of weights in the process of moving up and down, to reduce the creep test error of load cells.(3) Frame is the main parts of the creep error detection device of load cells, at the same time is also the other body parts of the installation of reference parts, the stability of the entire load cells creep error detection device is very important. In this paper using ANSYS Workbench to finite element analysis of the frame, obtained the deformation of frame under the working condition, determine the reliability of a frame under the working condition; through the pre-stressed modal analysis, analysis the natural frequency and vibration mode of the frame structure; Through the motion simulation of creep error detection device of load cells, inspection the rationality of structural design.(4) Load cell creep tests were measured use the new design device, get the creep test date of load cells, then draw the creep characteristic curve of load cells and analysis the creep characteristic.
